Freelance TV and video work;   Feb 03 – present

Compliance and QC editing for Technicolor Network Services for various channels including
Disney UK, Disney Scandinavia, Sci-Fi Channel, Movies 24, various Hallmark and NBCU channels.
Camera operation and editing services for Fifth Frame, Iambic Films, Algebra TV and the Rugby
Football Union. Performed various post production duties at Diverse Post, Wall to Wall Television
and Oxford Scientific Films. Filmed an archaeological excavation in Bedford.

‘Monark’ feature length film for KEMF production;   May 04 – May 07

Director of photography, editor, 2D & 3D special effects, audio edit & mix for an independently
produced feature length film shot on location and edited in Zurich, Switzerland. Was extensively
involved in all aspects of production including the musical score.

Diverse Post, Online Editor;   Jan 99 – June 2002

Television post production facility in West London. Digital linear tape editor. Online Editor credits
on several programmes broadcast on BBC, Channel 4 and various other channels. Other duties
included audio dubs for broadcast programmes, edit assist, tape transfers of major broadcast
formats, rostrum camera, technical support for Avid suites and occasional Avid offline editing.

Freelance 3D computer animator;   Jan 00 – present

Assorted graphics for ‘Student Essentials’ broadcast on BBC 2. 3D Character for BBC Education
website and CD-ROM. Logos for Artisan productions and Mercedes corporate video.

Freelance Camera Operator;   October/November 98

Operated a Sony Betacam SP camcorder to gather footage of people working in different
occupations, as part of production of a CD-ROM for the National Employment Agency. This
also entailed finding suitable subjects and arranging for their co-operation in filming.

RTS (Royal Television Society) Award; winter 1998

Won runner-up prize in the regional finals, Student Video Awards in the fictional category.
Contestants were from various universities and film schools.

President of the Bradford Student Cinema; 1995 to 1997

Trained as a projectionist then was elected as president for two terms. Hosted the annual spring
conference for the student group of the British Federation of Film Societies.

Young Engineer Award; 1993

Winner of third prize in the regional finals of Young Engineer for Britain competition, for a video
projector built as a school A-level project.

’94TVYP Delegate; summer 1994

Won a competitive place on Television for Young People programme, part of the Film and
Television Festival in Edinburgh.

Marketing prize; 4th year upper school enterprise project

Prizes for best marketing campaign and best newspaper advert design.
